Have you ever found yourself wondering what the next chapter of your life will look like?

I know I have.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking about where God might be leading me next. Will CodeBreeze Solutions continue to grow? What new people will I meet? What opportunities are waiting just around the corner?

The truth is...I don't know.

And maybe that's exactly how faith is supposed to work.

In Matthew 14, Jesus called Peter to step out of the boat and walk on the water.

Jesus didn't explain every detail.

He didn't calm the storm first.

He simply said, "Come."

Peter had a choice.

Stay where it was comfortable...

Or trust Jesus enough to take the next step.

Lately, that story has been on my heart.

As I continue building CodeBreeze Solutions, creating YouTube videos, performing magic, writing this newsletter, and staying open to whatever opportunities God places in front of me, I'm reminded that I don't need to know every chapter before turning the page.

Sometimes God simply asks us to take the next faithful step.

The rest of the story unfolds one chapter at a time.

🏙️ NEW HAVEN —

This week I stopped by DocuPrintNow, a family-owned print shop in New Haven, to order new business cards and postcards for CodeBreeze Solutions.

Even though I spend most of my time helping businesses grow online, I still believe print marketing has its place. You'll find postcards, flyers, and community bulletin boards all around New Haven—including the public bulletin boards at Yale, where local organizations and businesses can share information.

I like leaving postcards on community bulletin boards and carrying business cards wherever I go. Since magic naturally leads to conversations with people, having a business card handy has become a simple way to stay connected and continue building relationships.

Sometimes the best marketing isn't choosing between digital and print—it's using both together.

🎩 MAGIC —

This week, after meeting with a prospective client in downtown New Haven, CT, I spent a few minutes performing my multiplying ball routine for a group of DoorDash and Uber Eats drivers.

It was one of those unexpected moments that reminded me why I love magic so much. A few strangers stopped what they were doing, smiled, laughed, and enjoyed a little moment of wonder together.

You never know where the next conversation—or the next performance—might happen. Sometimes all it takes is saying hello and being willing to share a little joy with the people around you.

💰 MONEY —

The markets continue to keep investors on their toes, but I'm still focused on the long term rather than the day-to-day headlines.

One story I've been following closely is GameStop's continued pursuit of eBay. The company recently disclosed that it now owns nearly 10% of eBay, and Ryan Cohen has made it clear he intends to keep pursuing the opportunity "one way or another." Whether a deal ultimately happens or not, it's certainly an interesting chapter to watch unfold.

I've also been encouraged by how well Bitcoin has held up despite the uncertainty and turmoil we're seeing around the world. Markets will always experience ups and downs, but that's one of the reasons I try to think in years instead of days.

As always, I'm staying patient, continuing to learn, and trusting that disciplined investing—just like building a business—is a marathon, not a sprint.

This week I published my sixth YouTube tutorial for the CodeBreeze Solutions channel.

One thing people may not realize is that I'm learning right alongside everyone else. I'm still figuring out video editing, experimenting with new tools like OBS Studio and CapCut, and learning something new with every video I create.

There are moments when I wish everything looked more polished, but then I remind myself that everyone starts somewhere. If I waited until I had everything figured out, I probably never would have uploaded the first video.

My goal isn't to be a professional video editor—it's to help small business owners with practical tips on websites, SEO, Google Business Profiles, and digital marketing while continuing to learn and improve along the way.

Sometimes the next chapter doesn't begin when you become an expert.

Sometimes it begins when you're willing to be a beginner.

💡 Quick Business Tip

Carry a business card.

In a digital world, it's easy to assume everything has to happen online. But some of the best opportunities still begin with a face-to-face conversation.

Whether you're at a coffee shop, networking event, community gathering, or simply talking with someone new, a business card gives people an easy way to remember you after the conversation ends.

You never know which introduction could become your next customer, partnership, or opportunity.

One of the hardest parts of faith is not knowing exactly what comes next.

Most of us would love for God to hand us a detailed roadmap with every turn clearly marked. We want to know where we're going, how long it will take, and what the outcome will be.

But that's usually not how God works.

Instead, He asks us to trust Him one step at a time.

Looking back, I can see moments in my own life where I wanted answers, but God was teaching me something even more valuable—dependence on Him. If He showed us the entire journey from the beginning, we might rely more on the plan than on the One leading us.

As I continue building businesses, meeting new people, creating videos, and serving others, I'm reminded that my responsibility isn't to know every detail of the future. My responsibility is to faithfully take the next step God places in front of me.

The next chapter may still be unwritten in my eyes...

But it's already known by the Author.

🎯 THE LESSON —

The next chapter of your life won't begin because you have every answer.

It begins when you're willing to take the next faithful step.

Like Peter stepping out of the boat, we don't always know what waits on the other side of obedience. We simply trust that Jesus is calling us forward.

God rarely reveals the entire journey all at once.

He asks us to trust Him today.

To take today's step.

To do today's work.

And to leave tomorrow in His hands.

Keep trusting.

Keep serving.

Keep growing.

The Author of your story is still writing.
