Mo Magic Weekly — Issue #17: Forgive and Move Forward 🪄

Last week we talked about showing up anyway.

Even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even when you’re afraid.

But there’s something else people don’t talk about.

You can show up every day…
and still feel stuck.

Why?

Because you haven’t let something go.

There are moments in life you wish you could take back.

Things you replay.

Things you wish you handled differently.

I’ve had one of those moments.

And for a long time, I carried it.

Not just the consequences…
but the weight of it.

The kind of weight that whispers:

Maybe you’ve felt that too.

But here’s what I’m learning:

If you don’t forgive yourself…
you end up serving a life sentence in your own mind.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean pretending it didn’t happen.

It means:

I don’t carry grudges.

Honestly… I’m just grateful to be here.

Grateful for another day. Another shot. Another opportunity to build something better.

Holding onto anger doesn’t move you forward.

It keeps you tied to the past.

Forgiveness cuts that tie.

In investing, one of the biggest mistakes people make is emotional decision-making.

Holding onto losses too long.
Selling too early out of fear.

Why?

Because they’re anchored to the past.

The same thing happens in life.

If you’re constantly replaying old mistakes…
you hesitate on new opportunities.

You don’t take the shot.
You don’t invest in yourself.
You stay safe.

But growth requires forward motion.

Not perfection.

Because just like life… you don't rebuild everything overnight. You rebuild it piece by piece.

I'm leveling up on my end too.

I just earned my Google certification in social media marketing “From Likes to Leads: Interact with Customers Online” — learning how to turn online engagement into actual leads and customers.

That's the gap most small businesses have.

Pretty posts. No results.

I'm building the skills to fix that.

Because I don't just want to build websites…

I want to build systems that bring in customers.

In magic, there’s something called “the release.”

Just moving forward.

You don’t move forward because you’re perfect.

You move forward because you decide to.

Forgiving others sets them free…
but forgiving yourself sets you free.
