Hey Friends 👋
It took me six years to earn my degree.
Snow days.
Bus rides.
Long shifts.
Math I didn’t want to face.
When I finished, I thought — this is it. I’m set.
But if I’m honest…
It wasn’t enough for what I want to build.
Because I didn’t quit… I’m still growing.
🏙️ NEW HAVEN — After the Storm
This week, a massive snowstorm shut everything down.
Roads empty.
Businesses closed.
Cars buried.
New Haven doesn’t panic in storms.
People shovel.
They salt.
They wait.
They dig out.
And then?
They go back to work.
Growth doesn’t stop because conditions aren’t ideal.
It pauses.
It prepares.
It continues.

🎩 MAGIC — Reps Before Reveal
I’ve been practicing Top Shot consistently.
It’s not camera-ready yet.
And that’s the point.
Some moves take hundreds of repetitions before they deserve the spotlight.
Card to Mouth hits live — but doesn’t always translate on video.
Different environments.
Different refinement.
Not everything polished is ready for release.
And not everything ready for release started polished.
Reps first.
Reveal later.

💻 CodeBreeze Corner — Sharpen the Edge
After finishing my degree, I assumed I had what I needed.
But building CodeBreeze the way I envision it requires more than clean design.
It requires strategy.
Understanding traffic.
Understanding conversion.
Understanding how small businesses actually grow.
So I started the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate.
Not casually.
Intentionally.
Because if I’m going to help businesses, I want to steward that responsibility well.
This week these verses have been guiding me:
Proverbs 1:5
“Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.”
Add to their learning.
Not finish.
Not arrive.
Add.
And this:
Proverbs 18:15
“The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.”
Seek it out.
No one required me to continue learning.
I chose to.
Because serving well requires sharpening.
(With permission, I’ll be featuring a recent project soon — real work, real application.)
💰 INVESTING — Discipline in the Dip
Crypto has been getting hit hard.
This isn’t my first downturn.
Volatility doesn’t shock me the way it used to.
For transparency, I continue holding positions in assets like Bitcoin, XRP, HBAR and others I’ve accumulated over time.
(Not financial advice — just sharing my journey.)
I don’t chase green candles.
I don’t overextend.
I don’t pretend red days don’t happen.
When possible, I add slowly.
Some people think that’s foolish.
Conviction rarely looks wise in the middle of a storm.
But discipline doesn’t require applause.
It requires consistency.
✝️ FAITH — Growth After Survival
There was a time in my life when survival was the goal.
Last week I wrote about not quitting.
This week I understand something deeper:
Because I didn’t quit… I’m still growing.
Faith isn’t just about enduring the storm.
It’s about building after it passes.
It’s about adding to what God has already helped you carry through.
Wisdom grows.
Faith matures.
Discipline compounds.
🧠 The Lesson
Achievement is good.
Addition is better.
The wise don’t assume they’ve arrived.
They acquire.
They refine.
They practice.
They add.
They stay.
And then they sharpen.
If you’ve hit a milestone recently, don’t stop there.
Add to it.
Stay faithful. Stay steady. In Jesus’ name. |
