There was a time in my life when I almost quit for good.

Today, I’m grateful to be here. That wasn’t always true.

Grateful to still be building.
Grateful to still be learning.
Grateful to still be refining.
Grateful for another chance to grow.

That gratitude changes everything.

Because when you’re grateful just to be here,
you don’t quit over small frustrations.

You don’t panic over slow seasons.
You don’t abandon growth because it’s uncomfortable.

You stay.

New Haven isn’t flashy.

It’s brick buildings.
Cold mornings.
Bus stops.
Coffee before work.
People grinding without cameras.

This city has seen storms.
Economic shifts.
Hard seasons.

And it’s still here.

Still building.
Still renovating.
Still opening new businesses.
Still moving.

Not loud.
Not viral.

Just steady.

That’s what I respect about New Haven.

It doesn’t panic when things feel slow.

It stays.

I’ve been working on the Top Shot made famous by Lennart Green.

It’s technical. Demanding. Easy to rush.

But rushing ruins it.

You refine.
You repeat.
You adjust.

Card to Mouth, on the other hand?
That one’s ready for camera this week.

Some moves are still sharpening.
Some are ready to perform.

The lesson?

Don’t abandon a move just because it isn’t perfect yet.

Refinement takes time.

I’m taking the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate seriously.

Not casually.

Because if I’m going to build websites and help businesses grow, I want to do it properly.

It’s intensive.
It stretches how I think.
It forces strategy — not just design.

Nobody applauds finishing modules at night.

But that’s foundation work.

And foundations don’t get built in public.

The four-year cycle doesn’t look textbook this time.

There’s noise.
There’s FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt).
There’s doubt.

I’m still holding.

Because conviction isn’t about perfect timing.
It’s about long-term alignment.

Years ago, I might have reacted emotionally.

Now?

I stay.

This verse has been sitting with me:

At the proper time.

Not when it’s convenient.
Not when it’s viral.
Not when it feels easy.

Proper time.

The harvest is scheduled.

Quitting is optional.

And this time, I’m not quitting.

Growth requires staying longer than your emotions.

You don’t quit the move because it’s hard.
You don’t quit the business because it’s slow.
You don’t quit the market because it’s red.
You don’t quit the calling because it’s quiet.

You stay.

Because maturity isn’t loud.

It’s consistent.

Don’t quit now.

You’ve already grown past the version of you who would have.
